Drum Sump Storage System

Designed to store drums either vertically or horizontally, for ease of use and access. In case of leakage, the sumps can hold more than the contents of the drum – 125% – and conform fully with Environmental Duties of Care and Oil Storage Regulations (England) 2001. Manufactured by experienced metalworkers at our Redditch-based factory, the sumps are made from a strong, welded steel construction that is liquid tight, with a drain plug and fork locators, and finished in a tough red epoxy coating. Each is equipped with a removable, galvanised steel grid, and there is a retaining chain for vertical storage.
Two Drum Sumps are available: with 250 litre capacity for two vertical drums; and 470 litre capacity for four vertical drums. A Drum Stand is available for use with the latter, fitting over the sump and facilitating the storage of two horizontal drums. This can be fitted with optional Drum Rotation Frames (one per drum), equipped with nylon wheels and allowing full rotation of the drum. A Drain Tap is also available as an optional extra, for use with either Drum Sump, providing greater control when emptying contents. If required, the Drum Sumps can be stacked up to three high.
